The palace of the Sun King, Louis the Fourteenth, is a must-see on any trip to Paris. Claude Monet's home at Giverny is a must-see for lovers of gardens and Impressionism. Visit his house and private gardens, including the Japanese Garden with its half-moon bridge and waterlilies so well known from Monet's paintings. On the way back to Paris, you'll travel on the lovely "Route des Crètes", along the Seine river, to see the lovely villages and landscapes that the Impressionists used as their inspiration.
