Versailles Palace Guided Tours (Versailles castle's reservation fee included)

The palace of the Sun King, Louis the Fourteenth, is a must-see on any trip to Paris. Visit the King and Queen's private apartments, the famous Hall of Mirrors, then venture into the extensive gardens to see the Petit Trianon and the Grand Trianon, the Grand Canal, or the Queen's Hamlet, Marie Antoinette's favorite place to "get away from it all".  You'll be accompanied by an expert, English-speaking tour guide who will help you make the most of your visit to Versailles.  Take a half day at Versailles (can be combined with a visit to Giverny- see below), or spend a full day if you prefer.
